Hannah K. DeFord, AuD, CCC-A

Hannah DeFord, AuD, CCC-A, joined the Atreus Medical team in 2026 as a Doctor of Audiology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern State University and her Doctor of Audiology from Wichita State University. Dr. Hannah DeFord is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.

Her clinical interests include geriatric hearing care, tinnitus management, communication strategies and hearing aids. She enjoys helping patients set personalized goals and develop practical strategies that support continued progress throughout their hearing journey.

Dr. Hannah DeFord first planned to pursue speech-language pathology but changed direction after learning more about audiology and the many ways hearing affects a person’s daily life. Her favorite part of the job is working with patients from different backgrounds and finding the approach that best supports their hearing goals. She provides clear, straightforward recommendations and encourages patients to ask questions and explore options that work for them.

Outside of work, Dr. DeFord enjoys reading, gaming, crocheting and caring for her plants. She also spends time with her cat, Kratos, and cheers for the Minnesota Vikings during football season. Originally from Amarillo, Texas, she appreciates the Seneca area’s greenery, kind people and variety of local businesses.
